The Centennial Theatre Society Awards 2010 Grant to the Handsworth Secondary Theatre Program.

The Centennial Theatre Society is a not-for-profit organization, founded in 2007 that is dedicated to raise funds to support emerging performing artists and organizations to offset the costs of staging a performance at Centennial Theatre.

In the inaugural year the Society has awarded the $1,000 Grant to the Handsworth Theatre Program. For the past decade, Handsworth theatre, dance and film students have been presenting original productions at Centennial Theatre. Students are involved in all aspects of creating and staging the production. This year's performance will be held at Centennial Theatre in
April, 2010.
